The four steps of a build
Every one of our WordPress websites goes through the same four steps. Each ends with something you can see and sign off.
Week 1
Discovery
The queries your buyers actually type, and which ones you can realistically win.
You get: a query matrix
Week 1–2
Structure
Sitemap, page briefs, internal linking plan. Signed off before a pixel is drawn.
You get: a sitemap
Week 2–4
Design and build
Built in WordPress. Staging link from day one, so you watch it happen.
You get: a staging site
Launch + 30 days
We don’t disappear
30 days of fixes included. Replies under 24 hours, long after that.
You get: a person who answers
Step one is a free 30-minute call. You leave with a plan and a fixed price.
Week 1 · You get a query matrix
Discovery: start with the buyer, not the brief
Most websites are built around how a business describes itself. We start with how buyers describe their problem. “Family dentist in Leeds with Saturday appointments” is a question someone asks. “Comprehensive dental solutions” isn’t. The query matrix lists those questions and marks which ones are worth building pages for.
Weeks 1–2 · You get a sitemap, page briefs and a linking plan
Structure: one page per question
Every service, and often every city, gets its own page, with the answer in the first two lines. This is what makes a site easy for people, Google and AI tools to understand. Nothing gets designed until you’ve agreed the structure.
Weeks 2–4 · You get a staging site
Design and build: you see it from day one
No big reveal at the end. The staging link shows the site as we build it, so you can comment while changes are still easy. Every site gets speed work, schema, llms.txt and spam protection on forms before launch.
Launch + 30 days · You get a person who answers
We don’t disappear
The week after launch is when people find the small things: a phone number, a photo, a form going to the wrong inbox. You have 30 days of fixes included, and replies within 24 hours long after that.
What we need from you
Most delays come from waiting on content. The two-week clock starts once we have:
| What | Why | When |
|---|---|---|
| Logins | Domain, hosting (if you have it) and any existing site, so nothing gets lost | Week 1 |
| Your services and prices | So every page can answer “what” and “how much” | Week 1 |
| Brand files | Logo, colours and fonts, if you have them | Week 1 |
| Photos | Real photos of your work, team and place. We’ll tell you where stock is fine | Week 2 |
| Feedback on staging | Comments in one list, from one person, within a few days | Weeks 2–4 |
If you’d like us to write the copy, tell us on the call and it goes into the fixed price in your quote. Payment is 50% to start and 50% on launch.
How we keep you updated
Replies within 24 hours, before and after launch. A real person, not a ticket number.
A staging link from day one on every build.
A written report on a fixed day for monthly plans: what we did, what changed, and what’s next.
No surprises in the bill. Anything outside the quote is priced in writing before we start it.
Your logins stay yours. Your site, domain, ad accounts and data are always in your name.
How monthly AI SEO and Meta ads run
Monthly plans have a three-month minimum, then run month to month with 30 days’ notice. Here’s what the first three months look like.
| Month | AI SEO | Meta ads |
|---|---|---|
| Month 1 | Setup: fix site basics, set up tracking, and run every buyer question once as a baseline | Week 1: account access, pixel, events and follow-up, tested with real form fills. Week 2: first static and carousel ads live |
| Month 2 | Content: publish pages and articles that answer buyer questions | Keep the ads that bring leads, stop the rest, test new creatives |
| Month 3 | Mentions: listings, list pitches and posts so other sites mention you | Scale what works, refine follow-up, judge on cost per customer |
| Every month | Recheck the same questions, report what changed and what’s next | Weekly checks on spend and results, report on your plan’s schedule |

Website Care is optional. Some clients keep their site themselves after the walkthrough; others prefer us to handle the updates. Either is fine.
Common questions
Short questions about the process. Everything else is in our FAQ.
That’s why the structure is signed off first and the staging link is live from day one. Feedback comes early, while changes are quick.
The quickest way is to have your content ready: logins, services and prices, brand files and photos. Most sites take about two weeks, and the clock starts once we have everything.
No ready-made theme. Every site is built in WordPress with custom code where it counts, not a stack of plugins, so it stays fast as you add pages.
You keep everything. Your site, domain, ad accounts and data are always in your name. Monthly plans run month to month with 30 days’ notice after the three-month minimum.
Start with a free 30-minute call.
We’ll look at your site, tell you what we’d do, and give you a plan with a fixed price.
